In Dexter: New Blood, we meet new people who change Dexter’s life in big ways. One of the most important new characters is his teenage son, Harrison. Their relationship is complicated and brings out a lot of emotions in Dexter.
There’s also a new villain who keeps things exciting. Mr Krabs! Just kidding. He is the guy who did the voiceover for Spongebob’s character Mr Krabs.

My rating: 8.5/10. It’s intense but not quite as shocking as the first season.
Season 3: Miguel Prado
In Season 3, Dexter forms an unexpected friendship with Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado. But things take a dangerous turn when Dexter realizes that he can’t trust Prado.
This season is interesting because it shows Dexter trying to find a friend. My rating: 7/10.
Season 4: The Trinity Killer
Season 4 is often considered the best season of Dexter, and I completely agree. The main villain, the Trinity Killer (Arthur Mitchell), is one of the most terrifying characters in the series.
Mitchell seems like a regular family man, but he’s hiding a dark and deadly secret. Dexter even admires him at first. But as Dexter gets closer, he realizes just how dangerous Mitchell really is.
Moreover, the season builds up to one of the most shocking and heartbreaking endings in TV history. My rating: 10/10. It’s flawless.
Season 5: Jordan Chase
In season 5, Dexter meets a group of people who have been hurt by a motivational speaker named Jordan Chase. He turns out to be much more sinister than he appears. Chase manipulates others into doing horrible things, and Dexter sets out to stop him.
My rating: 7.5/10. It’s solid but doesn’t reach the heights of Season 4.
Season 6: The Doomsday Killer
Season 6 introduces us to the Doomsday Killer, a villain who believes he’s doing God’s work. This season is darker and more disturbing, with religious themes. Dexter faces a new kind of challenge as he tries to stop the killer while also questioning his own beliefs.
My rating: 6.5/10.
Season 7: The Russian Mob (Isaak Sirko)
Season 7 brings a new kind of enemy – Isaak Sirko. He is a member of the Russian Mob who comes after Dexter for personal reasons. Sirko is a dangerous and ruthless villain, but there’s also a strange kind of respect between him and Dexter.
My rating: 8/10.
Season 8: Dr. Evelyn Vogel / Oliver Saxon
Season 8 is the final season of the original series. It focuses on Dexter’s relationship with Dr. Evelyn Vogel, who helped create the code that Dexter lives by. Vogel understands Dexter in a way no one else does.
But things get complicated when her past comes back to haunt her.
The main villain, Oliver Saxon, doesn’t quite live up to the earlier villains. I also think the season feels a bit rushed. The ending is controversial and left many fans disappointed.
My rating: 6.5/10. It’s an okay ending, but it could have been more intense.
